Information about Good Programming Styles

Here follow some preliminary guide lines on good programming styles. They are based on what I disliked in previous student projects. I hope that this helps to improve the quality and reusability of programs written under my supervision. I will continuously update these lists. Please look for future improved versions of these documents. All of these documents are currently very rough notes.
Replace '_dot_' by '.' and '_at_' by '@' in 'a_dot_g_dot_setzer_at_swan_dot_ac_dot_uk'
